It is a green-white vertical bicolour with ratio of stripes 2:1. The coloured seal is shifted towards the top. Under the seal in the green stripe is a white vertical inscription " "Opfenbach" ".

Opfenbach Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, abased parted by a fess wavy Vert, above a unicorn's head Gules armed Or.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is canting representing the name giving creek. The unicorn is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Schrundholz. They had been commssionaires of the Benedictine St. Gallen Monastery and died out in the 14th century. They were based in the hamlet of Schrundholz, which belongs to the municipality. The seal has a circumscription in black initials " BAYERN" above and " GEMEINDE OPFENBACH" below, separated by black swung dashes.

The arms were approved on 1 August 1930 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
