Weil Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a cross patty Sable, in centre an inescutcheon Argent charged with a pair of shearer's scissors Gules.
Meaning:
The cross is alluding to the Teutonic Order, to which the village belonged until 1806, when the order had been dissolved. The scissors are taken from the arms of the Lords of Haldenberg, local rulers before 1260, who gave all their possessions in Weil to the order in 1260. Konrad of Haldenberg joined the order in 1314.

The arms were approved on 19 April 1966 by Minister of Interior of Bayern.
