Meaning:
Meaning: In 1972 the municipalities of Ober- Unter- and Mittel-Schefflenz (upper, lower and central) merged with the municipality of Kleineichholzheim. The seals of the three Schefflenz municipalities displayed lion and lozenges of the Palatine Electorate together with a peasecod. Lion and lozenges were taken from the arms of the electorate, to which the municipalities belonged since 1653. The peasecods were canting ("Scheve" in the local language) and differed only in tincture and position. The oak leaf is representing the fomer Kleineichholzheim Municipality.
