Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a broad bend sinister wavy charged with a wolf trap Or.
Meaning:
The wolf trap is derived from the arms of the medieval Barons of Breidenbach on Breidenstein, who ruled the village for many centuries. The bend wavy is a canting symbol representing a creek (German: Bach).
The arms were approved on 9 July 1956.
