Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a Maltese cross Argent as cross of the Teutonic(?) Order, chief Gules three facetted 6-point stars Argent in fess, both field are separated by a bar wavy Argent.
Meaning:
The bar wavy is representing Wohra River, name giver of the municipality, stars and cross are representing the four villages Wohra, Halsdorf, Langendorf and Hertingshausen, forming the municipality. The stars are reminding on the Counts of Ziegenhain and the cross is representing the Huguenot village of Hertingshausen.
