Radeburg Coat of Arms

Shield Sable an embattled wall Or masoned Sable topped by two towers of the same, the dexter one with three pitched roofs Gules, the sinister one with one pitched roof Gules.
Meaning:
Radeburg was ruled by the Wettin kin since 1123. The tinctures are those of the kin. Radeburg was first mentioned as a city in 1289. There had been a mayor and a council since the 15th century.The arms are based on a city seal and appeared first in 1450 but are proably older. Wall and towers are stressing the status of a city.

Banner and arms were approved on 9 August 1994. The tricolour was adopted on 28 January 1915.
