Bellenberg Coat of Arms

On base Vert a deciduous tree Or on top of a triplemount of the same.
Meaning:
On a local hill had been a castle, the seat of the Lords of Bellenberg. It was destroyed in the War of the Cities by the city of Ulm. Later a linden stood at the same place. The deciduous tree is referring to it. The triplemount is canting for the syllable "-berg". Thetinctures are those of the Lords of Ellerbach, who ruled the Lordship of Bellenberg since 1357. They became extinct in 1570.
