Fürstenzell Coat of Arms

Shield Azure parted by a chevron of alternating triangles of Gules and Argent, in base a coronet Or.
The municipality adopted the arms of the Cistercian Fürstenzell Monastery. The coronet is alluding to a prince (German: Fürst), the chevron is canting, representing a tent. The tinctures are based on the encoding of the seals of the monastery in Petra Sancta code.
