Schweitenkirchen Coat of Arms

Shield parted by a pale Argent charged with a pallet Vert, at dexter Azure a church tower issuant Or, at sinister Gules parted by a cross Argent.
Meaning:
Meaning: Pale and pallet are symbolising the federal highway between Nürnberg and München, which crosses the municipality. The tower is a representation of the parish church of Schweitenkirchen, dedicated to St. John. The cross is an attribute of St. George, patron saint of the church of Dürnzhausen, which was incorporated in 1971.
