Leiblfing Coat of Arms

Shield Gules a lion rampant Argent ascending a quadruplemount of the same issuant from dexter base, chief Argent two barrulets Gules.
Meaning:
Lion and mount are taken from the canting arms of the Counts of Leonberg, who had been the most important manorial lords in the High Medieval. They had also been reeves of the local parish church, but they sold the bailiwick to the Chapter of Regensburg in 1306, represented by the tinctures white and red. The chief is taken from the arms of the Lords of Leublfing, who had been in service of the Bishopric of Regensburg since the 12th century. They also held important positions in service of Bayern until the 19th century.
