Shield Gules an embattled wall Argent issuant from base, a crozier Or in pale issuant from wall, in chief a pair of scales Argent.
Meaning:
The tinctures red and white are those of the Bishopric of Würzburg, to which the area belonged since 1692. The crozier also is alluding to the bischopric. The municipality had been seat of an Imperial High Court, symbolised by the scales and had been fortified, symbolised by the embattled wall.
