Shield Azure, on the peaks of a triplemount issuant Vert three towers Argent with port and windows Sable and roofs Gules.
Meaning:
The arms are based on the oldest town seal with prints since 1342. They probably are representing the local donjon and the city gates at both ends of the high street. The tinctures basicsally never changed. Trostberg was founded by the Bavarian Dukes in the middle of the 13th century and gained the title of a city in 1913.
