Shield Argent with base Vert, on base a tower Gules surrounded by a wall of the same.
Meaning:
In 1904 the municipality applied for a proper coat of arms. In the 19th century there had been only municipal stamps, displaying a deciduous tree, probably a canting beech (German: Buche). The state archive suggested a tower, as the municipality wanted to have a symbol alluding to its local history. The tower is alluding to the so called "Buchheimer Hans", the remains of a Gothic church tower.

The arms were adopted by the local council in 1905. The banner was never approved officially.
