Mahlstetten Municipal Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Or an annulet Azure with gemstone of the same, beneath Azure a demi-millwheel Or with four spokes.
Meaning:
Since 1930 the municipality used stamps with the demi-wheel and an initial "M". The wheel became also a part of the arms. The annulet displays the family arms of the Barons of Enzberg in counterchanged tinctures. The barons had been the local rulers from 1409 until 1805 with a short interruption between 1659 and 1701. In 1805 the village was acquired by Württemberg. The demi-wheel is alluding to the local Lippach watermill.
