Shield Gules a bend sinister wavy Argent, flanked by two 8-point stars of the same.
Meaning:
The current pattern was used in municipal seals since around 1820 in an oval shield. The bend wavy is a canting element, symbolising the local creek (German: Bach). The meaning of the stars is unknown. The tinctures are those of the Counts of Hohenberg and of the Dukes of Austria as well. The latter ruled the village until 1805.
