Ettringen Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a crozier Gules and a spade sable in saltire, over all an abased fess wavy Azure.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is a representation of the Wertach, a creek crossing the municipality. The spade is taken from the arms of the Ostheim family, patricians living in Augsburg. The crozier is an attribute of St. Martin and St. Ottilia, both local patron saints.
