Raisting Coat of Arms

Shield parted per fess, above Azure a post horn Or, beneath Or a crozier issuant in pale.
Meaning:
The horn is representing the environment of Deutsche Post and afterwards Deutsche Telekom, which ran a ground communication station in the municipality between 1964 and 2005. Its parabolic antennas are still a landmark. The crozier is an attribute of St. Remigius, the local patron saint. The tinctures blue and golden are those of the neighbouring Augustine Dießen Convent, which ruled the local district (Bavarian: Hofmark) between 1642 and 1803.
