HEI Rosport

The name is the abbreviation of "Hjortshøj-Egå Idrætforening" and is probably the rowing department of a greater local sports club. The pennant is horizontally parted of white and red with a disc shifted to hoist in counterchanged colours.
The club (or department) was established in 1969, the pennant adopted in 1970. The pattern became well-known, when Greenland adopted it as its flag pattern in 1985. Both parties agreed to keep their common symbols. The disc is symbolising the sunrise over the nearby Mols mountains.
Hjortshøj and Egå are two villages being quasi the northern annex of Aarhus City.
