Alternativa Republicana (ALTER), established in March 2013 in Segorbe (Province of Castellón, Valencian Community), is self-styled a "leftist, democratic, republican, radical, secular, federalist and ecologist" party.

The party uses the flag of the Second Spanish Republic with the party's logo and name in the center (photo, photo, photo, photo, photo).
The party also uses the same flag with its full logotype (photo), made of the logo and name in white on a purple rectangle, as represented in Appendix I of the party's Statutes (text).
The above sources also reveal another flag, charged with a variant of the logo which has two strokes "broken". This appears too frequently to be just an error and these new edges look too straight to be the result of paint fading of other damaging of the flag. The variant also appears together with the flag charged with the "unbroken" logo.

The Federación de Republicanos (RPS - Republicans' Federation), established on 16 September 2001, calls for the suppression of the Spanish monarchy and the set up of the Third Spanish Republic.

RPS was among the organizers of the demonstrations that gathered thousands people in Madrid on 14 April 2014 for the celebration of the 84th anniversary of the Second Republic.
The demonstrators used the flags of the Second Spanish Republic, sometimes charged with the emblem of RPS (photo). RPS also uses the flag of the Second Spanish Republic charged with the group's name surmounted by the three colored dots taken from the emblem (photo).

On both flags, the emblems do not contain the full name of the organization, but only the word "republicanos", the last three letters being inscribed in bold variant of the typeface, thus forming the word "nos" (Spanish, "us").
