The flag of Villalba de Duero is prescribed by a Decree adopted on 23 July 2001 by the Municipal Council, signed on 24 July 2001 by the Mayor, and published on 10 August 2001 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 156, p. 12,267 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Quadrangular, with proportions 1:1. At hoist a blue triangle of 4.0 [most probably, 0.4] in depth, three equal horizontal stripes, yellow, white and red. In the middle of the flag is placed the municipal coat of arms.
The coat of arms of Villalba de Duero is prescribed by a Decree adopted on 8 July 1999 by the Burgos Provincial Government, signed on 27 July 1999 by the President of the Government and published on 6 August 1999 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 151, p. 8,009 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Per pale, 1. Azure a three-towered castle or masoned sable surrounded by two lions or in chief an eight-pointed star or, 2a. Or a bunch of grapes sable and spikes vert, 2b. Gules the silhouette of the sanctuary of the Virgen del Prado argent, grafted in base argent two waves azure. The shield surmounted with a Royal crown.
