Presentation of Rebollar

The municipality of Rebollar (214 inhabitants in 2109; 1,200 ha) is located 110 km north of Cáceres and 30 km north-east of Plasencia.

Flag of Rebollar

The flag and arms of Rebollar, adopted on 31 May 1990 by the Municipal Council and validated on 28 January 1992 by the Assessing Council of Honors and Distinctions of the Government of Extremadura, are prescribed by an Order issued on 19 February 1992 by the Government of Extremadura and published on 25 February 1992 in the official gazette of Extremadura, No. 16, pp. 290-291 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular. White, charged in the center with the municipal coat of arms in full colors. [The attached drawing shows the coat of arms superimposed to a cross.]
Coat of arms: Gules a wall or ensigned by two towers of the same. A bordure argent five Pyrenean oaks [rebollos] proper. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
