The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Quadrangular, white with the coat of arms in the center.

The coat of arms of Cañamares is prescribed by an Order issued on 5 September 1994 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 16 September 1994 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 44, p. 3,195 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:

Coat of arms: Spanish shield. Argent three hemp [cañama] plants vert on a terrace of the same, a chief per pale, 1. Gules a castle or port and windows azure, 2. Or a bend vert. [Crown not mentioned].
