The municipality of Rosinos de la Requejada (419 inhabitants in 2009; 15,478 ha) is located in the northwest of Zamora Province, 110 km from Zamora.

Symbols of Rosinos de la Requejada

The flag and arms of Rosinos de la Requejada, designed by Vicente Tocino Letrado and Tomás Rodríguez Peñas, are prescribed by a Decree adopted on 31 March 2006 by the Municipal Council, signed on 14 June 2006 by the Mayor, and published on 6 July 2006 in the official gazette of Castilla y León, No. 130, p. 13,047 (text).
The symbols are described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular flag, with proportions 2:3, made of three equal horizontal stripes, the outer white with five red Greek crosses, the central blue, and at hoist a vertical green serrated stripe of 1/3 the flag's length.
Coat of arms: Argent a pale wavy azure surrounded by ten Greek crosses gules a chief serrated vert The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.
