Introduction

Transformers is a long-running cartoon series, about two factions of robots who fight a millions-of-years-long war.

The flag of Rodimus Prime, a general of the Autobots, appears on the prow of Rodimus' spaceship (flapping telegenically in a hard vacuum, in cheerful defiance of the laws of physics). The badge is the symbol of the Autobot faction on a yellow flaming shield.

Transformers Rescue Bots

The setting for "Transformers: Rescue Bots" is a fictional off-shore city in Maine called Griffin Rock.

The city's flag features a black and white atom symbol centered on a yellow field, overlayed with a red lobster. I'm not positive about the significance of the design, but I assume that the lobster is due to the city being in Maine and the atom has to do with all of the advanced technology research and development that takes place on the island where the city is located in the show.

Transformers Legends

There's an electronic card game out there played on mobile devices for fans of the Transformers universe. The game is called "Transformers Legends," and the premise of the game is for players to collect digital cards representing Transformers characters and their weapons, thereby building an army to battle against other players and take part in game events that are based on episodes from the various TV series and other incarnations of the Transformers universe.

One of the recent events was called "All Hail Megatron," based on a Transformers comic book series that was released in 2008 and 2009. The premise of the comic book series is that Megatron and the Decepticons have finally succeeded in conquering Earth, and the remaining Autobots are in hiding and fomenting an anti-Decepticon resistance. For the recent game event, the artwork in "Transformers Legends" included scenes of the main Decepticons (Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave) with large Decepticon flags flying the background.

The Decepticon flag in the "Transformers Legends" game features a large black Decepticon symbol centered on a purple field.
