Presentation of Beaupréau-en-Mauges

The municipality of Beaupréau-en-Mauges (23,407 inhabitants in 2018; 23,045 ha) was established on 15 December 2015 as the merger of the former municipalities of Beaupréau, Andrezé, La Chapelle-du-Genêt, Gesté, Jallais, La Jubaudière, Le Pin-en-Mauges, La Poitevinière, Saint-Philbert-en-Mauges, and Villedieu-la-Blouère, which composed the former Communauté de communes du Centre Mauges.

The flag of Beaupréau (photo, photo) is white with the municipal coat of arms, "Quarterly or and azure a saltire counterchanged".
The arms of Beaupréau are shown in the Armorial Général (image). The same folio features another four coats of arms designed on the same template, which clearly indicates that they were all designed from scratch by d'Hozier's zealous employees.
