Description of the flag

Croatian Radiotelevision (Hrvatska Radiotelevizija, HRT) is Croatia's public broadcasting company.Croatian Radiotelevision is the direct successor of the Radio Station Zagreb (Radio stanica Zagreb) that started broadcasting on 15 May 1926. In 1940, it became a state-owned company and changed its name to Radio Zagreb, as the radio station on the air had been called since its first broadcast, but during the World War II it was called Hrvatski krugoval. On May 15, 1956, on the 30th anniversary of the broadcasting of Radio Zagreb, the first television transmitter was launched, and on September 7, 1956, the broadcasting of Television Zagreb began, and thus Radiotelevizija Zagreb was created. On June 29, 1990, the Parliament of the Republic of Croatia passed the Act by which Radiotelevizija Zagreb was renamed Hrvatska radiotelevizija.

The flag of HRT is blue with logo.
