The city emblem was adopted on Oct 3rd 1957 but there si no flag law. The maroon flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a combination of stylized hiragana い I and kanji 田 Da of Iida.

Minamishinano Village / 南信濃村

The flag of the former village of Minamishinano was blue with mark. The village is now, from 2005, part of the city of Iida.
