The flag of town of Umi is green with mark.

The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Nov 1st 1975 by Notice No 49. The green flag has a red town emblem with a white fimbriation in the center. The town emblem is a stylized katakana ウミ Umi in a form of a birdís wings. It represents the solidarity and the friendship of the town people who considers harmonized industry with nature and the image of the welfare town surrounded by beautiful green nature which makes a leap forward.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The diameter of the emblem is 1/2 height of the flag.
