The village emblem was adopted in Oct 1966 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a green village emblem in the center. The village emblem is stylized katakana ウケン Uken. The circle symbolizes a happiness and a richness of the villagers, the center chevron does Mt. Yuwandake, the arcs at both side do the land form of the village and the center horizontal bar does an emotional bridge of the villagers and a sign of presence of a strong promotion and the future development.
