Located in Hachioji City Tokyo and established in 1920. The Embroidered ceremonial flag has a bluish purple background with a gold emblem in gold fringe. The university flag has a bluish purple background with a white emblem. The university emblem is a graphic representation of the Chinese characters 中央大學. The date of adoption is estimated to be between 1905 and 1918. The designer is unknown.
