The university flag has dark green background with a pink and white logo mark and horizontally written white Chinese characters and English university name. The symbol mark of Meio University, located in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture, which is famous for the earliest blooming cherry blossoms in Japan, depicts cherry petals within a square. The five petals of the cherry symbolize the universal values of truth, goodness, beauty, holiness, and health, and The four unbroken sides of the school signify people can be as close as fellow human beings , symbolizing the school's desire to become a nucleus for transmitting the founding spirit of peace, freedom, and progress from Yanbaru in northern Okinawa Prefecture to the rest of the world.
