The Flag

Located in Kiyose City Tokyo and established in 1949. The embroidered ceremonial flag has a pruple background with a gold emblem and vertically written gold kanji university name in gold fringe. The university emblem is a graphic rendition of Chinese characters 明薬 for the abbreviation of the university name. The emblem is estimated to have been established in 1923, when Meiji College of Pharmacy was founded.
