Flag

Located in Fukaya City Saitama Prefecture and established in 1976. The embroidered ceremonial flag has blue background with a gold emblem and vertically written in gold kanji institute name with gold fringe. The design of the institute emblem is a combination of the Tokugawa family emblem "Three leaves of hollyhock" and Chinese characters "大學" . The reason why the emblem is based on the three-leaves hollyhock is because the family emblem of Chikouji Temple, which is closely related to the school, is a three-leaves hollyhock. Chikouji Temple is the site of the cremation of Tokugawa Ieyasu's mother, "Oodai no kata," and has a strong connection with the Tokugawa family. Each of the three leaves of the hollyhock represents one of the three ideals of the institute's founding spirit: "sense of mission," "outlook on life," and "solidarity.
