Located in Nagoya City Aichi Prefecture and established in 1949.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has reddish purple background with a gold and silver emblem and vertically written gold kanji university name.
The triangle in the center of the university emblem represents the "cedar tree", while the vertical line and the outer circle represent the shape of the Chinese character山 for "mountain". The triangle in the center represents the three directions of "intellectual, moral, and physical education," the purpose of education, and the line in the center expresses the school's ideal of perfect development in all three directions, just like an outer circle, while the slightly open space at the top indicates the school's desire for unlimited improvement and development. Chinese characters 大學are superimposed on the university emblem.
