Located in Sendai City Miyagi Prefecture and established in 1962. The university flag has purple background with a purple, white, green, yellow and pink symbol mark in the center. The symbol mark is a combination of ellipses with a cosmic motif, expressing the spirit of applying the knowledge and skills learned at the university to daily life and the grand desire to contribute to humanity based on the principles of self-interest and altruistic happiness. The two hearts shown by the overlapping ovals symbolize the age of the heart and the heart of welfare. The shape of the two hearts, one large and one small, overlapping each other, up, down, left, right, and center, clearly expresses the goal of Tohoku Fukushi University, which is to realize "a society where people can feel a sense of purpose in life by drawing on their strengths and supporting each other," based on the credo, "Let all human beings live and let them live. Furthermore, when looking at the shape of the flower as a whole, it expresses both mourning and prayers for recovery. The upper part of the design bears the words "TOHOKU FUKUSHI UNIVERSITY" in English letters, and the lower part features the image of a Japanese bead tree with a sandalwood leaf and a flower.
