Overview

Kybartai (Vilkaviskis District) - field quartered red and blue, on q.1 and q.3 five golden apples per saltire, on q.2 and q.4 five silver axes three slightly over two. Flag proportions 1:1, fringe is golden, finial is golden tip. The charge reflects the local folk tale about five brothers carpenters, who built the Kybartai town: apples symbolize knowledge and civilization (i.e. town), and axes are carpenters' tools.
