Pagegiai (Pagegiai municipality) - on a white field the
arms of Pagegiai: a cuckoo bringing a key. Flag proportions
10:17, a narrow green bordure and inner golden indented bordure,
fringe is silver, finial is a golden nib and green and silver
bands having silver tufts. The green colour symbolizes both hope
and beauty of local woods. The cuckoo is canting:
"gege" means "cuckoo" in Lithuanian (this
form of word is archaic but still used in some dialects). The key
symbolizes a border town.
