FNSL (Front National pour le Salut de la Lybie) was founded on 7 October 1981 in the USA and is directed by Mohammed Youssef el Megariaf. Its main goal is to overthrow Colonel Qaddafi. Its flag is divided in two equal triangles, the upper being pale blue and the lower yellow.

The FNSL has a logo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:NFSL.jpg) and also Wikipedia mentions a different story on its origin, as follows:

"The National Front for the Salvation of Libya (NFSL) is an opposition movement to Muammar al-Gaddafi's regime in Libya. NFSL was established on 7 October 1981 at a press conference held in Khartoum, Sudan's capital. Its original leader was Muhammad Yusuf al- Magariaf, formerly Libyan ambassador to India. The NFSL is led by Ibrahim Abdulaziz Sahad, a former Libyan military officer and diplomat. The most recent National Congress of the NFSL was held in the United States in July, 2007"

The Flag

White crescent and star are added in canton. FNSL and other anti-Qaddafi movements also used the flag of the former kingdom of Libya.
