About the flag

The village of Caracui (2,316 inhabitants in 2014) is located 25 km south of Hncești (the district capital) and 60 km south-west of Chișinău (the national capital).

The flag and arms of Caracui are prescribed by Presidential Decree No. 890 issued on 21 September 2018 and published on 28 September 2018 in the Moldovan official gazette, No. 366-376, Article 607.

Article 1.
The coat of arms and flag of the village of Caracui, as approved by Decision No. 9.10 issued on 22 August 2018 by the Village Council, shall be registered into the General Armorial of the Republic of Moldova.
