About the flag

The village of Ciuciulea (3,080 inhabitants in 2014) is located 20 km south of Glodeni (the district capital) and 200 km north-west of Chișinău (the national capital).

The flag and arms of Ciuciulea are prescribed by Presidential Decree No. 466 issued on 30 November 2017 and published on 8 December 2017 in the Moldovan official gazette, No. 429-433, Article 720.

Article 1.
The coat of arms and flag of the village of Ciuciulea, as approved by Decision No. 5/7 issued on 27 September 2017 by the Village Council, shall be registered into the General Armorial of the Republic of Moldova.

Appendix 1. Coat of arms
Gyronny azure and or, superimposed with a disc argent charged with a horse passant gules ensigned by a cross patty sable. The shield surmounted by a village crown.

Appendix 2. Flag
Square flag, gyronny blue and yellow, in the center a white disc inscribing a red horse surmounted by a black cross patty.
