Blazon: I rødt ei gull klokke. In English: Gules a bell or.
Approved by the royal resolution of 14 July 1989 after a drawing by Jarle Skuseth after a commission by the municipality.

The design is a representation of a bell from an old smelter house in the municipality. Smelter house was working in Tolga from 1660 until 1871. The actual bell is inscribed "Tolgen schicht clock anno 1708" and was produced in Amsterdam. A copy of the original bell is today displayed at the top of the building in municipal center as well as in the municipal building.
