Stare Babice - rural commune, Warszawa-Zachód County, Mazowieckie Voivodship.
First mentioned in 1400. Now, a suburb of Warsaw.

Arms and flag adopted on September 4, 2003 (resolution # IX/53/03).
"Arms: on a light-blue shield, under a silver horseshoe topped with a golden cross, there are two silver sabres crossed and underneath them a silver arrow pointing downward.
(Without the sabres, it is a Coat of Arms "Dolega")
Flag: white-light blue-white. Three horizontal bands: upper and lower are white, the middle one is light-blue and four times the width of the white ones."
