Shield Argent, an eradicated durmast oak Vert acorned Or, in chief two scallops Gules iordered per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "AZINHAL - ALMEIDA".
Meaning:
The durmast oak (Port.: azinheira) is a canting element. The scallops are usually attributes of St. James the Elder.

Shield Azure; a bend sinister wavy Argent, charged with a barrulet sinister wavy Azure; in dexter chief a scent bottle Or; in sinister base a triplet of rye ears Or in bend sinister, tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PEVA - ALMEIDA".
Meaning:
The scent bottle is an attribute of St. Mary Magdalene, the local patron saint. The bend sinister wavy is referring to Paiva River.
