Coat of arms

Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent, an embattled tower Vert masoned Sable with port and windows Argent, crowned by an eagle Gules armed Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "AGUIÃ - ARCOS DE VALDEVEZ"
The eagle (Port.: aguiã) is a canting element. The base wavy is representing Vez River, the name giver of the municipality.
