It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field.

Shield Azure, three plants of bittercress Argent (Latin: Barbarea vulgaris) blossomed Or ordered 1:2, in base a watermill's wheel Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SEBAL". 
Meaning: 
Acc. to "Toponímia de Coimbra e Arredores" the proper name "Sebal" is derived from Latin "sinapi" (= mustard). And the Portuguese name of bittercress literally means "mustard herb", a plant very common in the area.

Sebal Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Condeixa-a-Nova Municipality; it had 2478 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 12.2 km².

Shield Or, a bend wavy Azure charged with a barrulet wavy Argent, in sinister chief a fleur-de-lis Azure, in dexter base a sheaf of three wheat ears Vert tied Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "BELIDE". 
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Welfare, the local patron saint.
