Coat of arms

Shield Azure, a sculpture Or, depicting a Roman, flanked by two wheat ears Argent, in base a bar wavy Argent charged with a barrulet wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "FORJÃES".

Forjães Commune is one of the nine communes of the Esposende municipality (q.v.); it had 2767 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 8.3 km².
