Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a mandolin Argent, lined and stringed Gules, in chief a mitre Argent ornamented Or and scarved Argent, in base a basket Or, issuant from basket two creepers of vine Or, fruited and leaved of the same, one in each flank. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CANDELÁRIA - MADALENA".

Candelária is one of the six communes of Madalena Municipality; it had 822 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 31,7 km².
