Coat of arms

Shield Argent, a fountain Gules spitting water Azure between a branch of vine Vert carrying three grapevines Purpure in chief and two olive branches Vert fruited Sable in base crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "CANDEDO - MURÇA".

Candedo Commune is one of the seven communes of the Murça municipality (q.v.); it had 1002 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 28.9 km².
