The shield of the arms is Vert, a pillory Argent, accompanied in chief by two wheat sheaves Or tied Purple, on a bordure Or eight pairs of hammers Sable, each pair set per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "ERVEDOSA"
Meaning:
The hammers stand for mining, a very old local industry, since the Bronze Age; the pillory stands for the former municipality seat, this village once was.
