Presentation of Žagubica

The municipality of Žagubica (14,823 inhabitants in 2002; 2,823 inh. in the village of Žagubica proper) is located in the Braničevo district, surrounded by the municipalities of Kučevo and Majdanpek in the north, Bor in the east, Despotovac in the south, and Petrovac in the west.
Near the Homolje Mountain Range, Žagubica and surrounding area have preserved nature, mild climate, clean air, unpolluted rivers and lakes, rich flora and fauna, and that explains why the main economic gain comes from ecotourism.

Flag of Žagubica

The flag of Žagubica, as shown on the municipal website, is quartered blue-red-blue-white by a yellow saltire.
The flag and arms were adopted in 2005, the flag being a simplified version of the arms.

The exact details of the flag are not known, for instance whether there should be a yellow border around the flag (or even another blue border as shown on the image provided by the local administration. There is one more inconsequent detail on that image, since the description of the flag on the municipal website says that the flag is square, while the image is rectangular.
